Properties are used on the drive and tail side of the belt conveyors, the parts of the belt and the rotation of the motor with the power of the reducer. In general, the drive rollers are produced with vulcanized rubber coating. Tail sections are flat surface. The quality of the coated rubber, the quality of the pipe being machined, the connection of the shafts to the stool and the care taken during processing determine the quality of the drum. As Asgard Engineering, we can provide high quality and customized drums. Connecting the shafts to the drum with special clamping connections eliminates the problem of shaft breakage.
It is the conveyor drum that moves to the conveyor belt and is attached to the head of the belt. If the belt length is long, more than one drive drum can be used in a belt installation. Rubber coating is used to grasp the body pipe of the conveyor drum. It is removable shaft and connected to the drum pipe by forceps system. Rubber coating is applied to the conveyor drive drums if desired. For better grip, 10-25 mm thickness, 65 ± 5 Shore hardness is coated and ground, diamond or sergeant pattern is opened. It is manufactured as hot vulcanized according to various hardness values suitable for the project.
In case the conveyor belt length is short, the conveyor tail drum is attached to the end of the belt and the tensioning system is connected to the shaft of the tensioning drum. In case the conveyor belt length is long, it is used as conveyor tail drum and used together with the weight mechanisms in the belt tensioning system. Generally rubber coating is not applied on the drum body pipe. Detachable shaft and clamp system is connected to the drum pipe. The outer surface of the drum pipes shall be given 1º taper per 3/2. According to the width and length of the band calculated according to the load it will carry, it has diameters between 220 mm and 1400 mm and surface width up to 400 mm and 3000 mm.
